Aren't these guys just gorgeous ?
Kitschy , vintage and cute! They tick all the boxes.I inherited these owl book ends from my maternal grandmother. They are in perfect nick. I can remember them sitting on her bookshelf...now they are taking pride of place on mine .
I snapped this photo some time ago and came across it again...so I thought I would share a little owl love with you !
( reading Nova's post ..thought she might like a looksy too ! )

Nana's are such a treasure aren't they? I keep things that belonged to mine just because they were hers. She used to sit in the corner doing the kind of embroidery that is your header. Seeing it reminded me of her. A lovely feeling. Thank you.

Hey - just read your profile. Milly Molly Mandy is one of my favourites too. First book I ever borrowed from a library when I was 12 and I was captivated.
What about the tea cosy she made from the odd bits she collected from the family? That started my interest in patchwork I think. I have an elderly copy in my bookcase.
I confess I don't do much patchwork but I still love it. Elsie

Gorgeous. I have an 8 year old owl lover who collects all things owl. I'll bring her here and show her these in the morning.
